5G networks and their unprecedented programmability enable specialized network slices with custom computing also on the edge of the mobile network close to the customer. Network slices enable the physical network resources partitioned into a use of customized and service specific virtual networks from edge to core. This means that for example a gaming application can have its entirely own low latency network and centralized gaming functions right at the edge, enabling entirely new type of services and experiences.

The challenge

The air cargo industry has many processes that could be optimized by digitalization. For example, the total carbon footprint of deliveries could be reduced by better use of available capacity.

At the moment, changes in tight schedules are solved manually. We believe that smart algorithms could help these people in their everyday jobs to make better, more efficient and faster decisions.

From the end users’ point of view, the current process of delivery tracking could be more transparent. It would be fair to notify customers about incoming delays as soon as possible.

Additionally, we will give you Microsoft Azure subscriptions so that you can utilize, e.g., Cognitive Services, different Azure SaaS and storage solutions or build something from scratch if you will.

The challenge

In a digital nation, a key challenge is upholding each citizen’s identity in a transparent but secure registry. To do so, we are looking for a distributed identity registration system that is built on the Bytom blockchain. Using a private key to protect your information, citizens should be able to authorize specific people who can access the data, set time limits to the use of data, or even profit from using Bytom smart contract to authorize other users. You can start with basic information such as identity, marital and voting, but can explore aspects of a digital identity beyond that.

Example conditions could be on minimum number of tokens held in the voting contract and that they have been stored there for a minimum amount of time. We want you to be creative with conditions: explore reasonable but creative conditions that need to be fulfilled to allow voting.

If time allows, also implement a solution (+conditions) on posting proposals to be voted on.
